This company’s new tamper-evident labeller (photo) complies with the European Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD) 2011/62/EU, which will become mandatory for the E.U. pharmaceutical industry beginning next year. The new labeler system ensures tamper-proof security of cartons. As an option, a laser or inkjet printer and a vision system of any brand can be integrated to provide each carton with a unique identification for track-and-trace functionality and serialization. The machine is operated with a user-friendly human-machine interface (HMI). The flexible system handles cartons ranging from 50 to 220 mm in width, 15 to 120 mm in height and 40 to 120 mm in length.
