ABB (Zurich, Switzerland; www.abb.com) has acquired the remaining shares of CGM AB to become its sole shareholder. Sweden-based CGM provides modern control-room design and ergonomic solutions for maximum control-room operator effectiveness.
The acquisition complements ABB’s portfolio with the latest technology for enhancing the control-room environment, from optimized design to ergonomic solutions with advanced functionality and improved safety standards. Optimum control room design increases the efficiency of operations that run continuously.

CGM employs 54 people and is based in Borås and Ryssby, Sweden. CGM will be part of ABB’s Control Technologies business unit.
