A superheated-stream generator without pressure vessels

| By Chemical Engineering

The HGA-S-CX1300 system is an innovative high-temperature steam-generation device that instantly produces high-quality superheated steam at 1 atm pressure. Maximum steam temperatures of 1,300°C are available, with steam flowrates from less than 1 kg/h to more than 10 kg/h. The system uses the company’s patented heating elements and refractories, which results in a system with a small footprint. The BPAN-O-2010 programmable control panel delivers accurate programming and temperature control of the steam output. The unit is suitable for laboratory and R&D applications. — MHI (Micropyretics Heaters International) Inc., Cincinnati, Ohio
