Vegamet 391 with SIL (safety integrity level) qualification is a universal signal-conditioning instrument for a variety of measurement tasks, such as level, gage-and process-pressure measurement. It can also serve as power supply for connected sensors. Vegamet 391 is designed for connection of any 4–20-mA sensor. Its SIL qualification allows it to be used in a safety-relevant protective function. SIL 2 can be achieved with a single-channel architecture, and even SIL 3 with multi-channel, diversified architecture.
