The Scion Series gas chromatography/mass spectrometer (GC/MS) is designed to enhance data quality and productivity for analysts conduction routine testing in the food safety, environmental testing and other areas. Available in both single-quadrupole and triple-quadrupole MS models, the Scion instruments have a lens-free optical path, which allows for increased instrument uptime, because there is less need to tune and re-tune the device. Also, the Scion instruments feature an axial ion source, which reduces the chances for turbulent flow, and leads to higher robustness, as well as a longer-lived turbopump for the vacuum.
