Here at Achema, Radleys is launching a new generation of laboratory synthesis systems, including the Lara Lite manually controlled lab reactor (CLR). The Lara Lite eliminates the need for multiple reaction setups for improved productivity, as well as cost and space reduction.
The Lara Lite features a vessel-clamping mechanism with quick-release side arms to easily change reactor vessels. Stirring can be controlled from 70 to 1,000 rpm with a fixed overhead stirrer, ensuring proper alignment. Semi-automated oil draining allows thermofluids to be removed quickly and safely when changing vessels. Jacketed-glass reaction vessels are interchangeable and available in sizes of 100 mL to 5 L. A full range of ancillary glassware is available, including condensers, distillation heads, dropping funnels, vacuum taps and gas bubblers.
Lara control software allows users to integrate their existing laboratory hardware and to create experimental recipes and new control loops for unattended processing. The system allows the direct connection and configuration of up to three sensors and one output. The addition of the Lara Expansion Hub allows for unlimited device connectivity.
In addition to the Lara Lite, the patented Reactor-Ready Reaction System, a multi-volume jacketed-glass reaction station, will also be debuted at Achema.
Preview copies of Radley’s comprehensive new Chemistry Catalogue, containing technical information about the firm’s range of products, will be offered to visitors. New additions to the catalogue include the Carousel 12 Plus Reaction Station, Breeze & Storm Heating and Cooling Workstations, Cool-It Insulated Bowls and Heat-On Heating Blocks.
