Introduced last month, the Rosemount 2051 pressure transmitter (photo, p. 24I-8) is the latest addition to this companys device portfolio that supports Profibus PA profile V3.02. Other devices in the Profibus portfolio include the 2051 pressure transmitter and the Rosemount 644 temperature transmitter. The 2051 also includes a Local Operator Interface (LOI) option that features simple addressing and configuration at the transmitter.
