The ViscoFlux mobile drum-emptying system has been further developed and now has an optional control unit enabling integration into a range of filling processes. For example, an end position cutoff can be integrated into the ViscoFlex so that the pumping process is automatically stopped when a pre-defined level is reached in the drum. External signals from a balance or level sensor can also be used for batch-processing applications. The control unit with integrated Flextronic provides more batch-processing possibilities. Here, Flextronic processes the incoming signals from, for example, a flowmeter or speed sensor on the pump, and thus controls the switch-off of the pump drive and solenoid valve when the required filling is reached. The ViscoFlex continuously and gently transports highly viscous, pasty and non-flowing materials, and is available for two drum diameters (560 and 571 mm). In drums without liners, ViscoFlux mobile achieves residual quantities of less than 1%, says the company. — Flux-Geräte GmbH, Maulbronn, Germany
