Machinery protection and prediction of critical mechanical equipment has been integrated into the DeltaV digital automation system (photo). This new capability directly supports users’ goals for improved availability and performance. This integrated machinery protection-and-prediction solution easily connects to the DeltaV system in three simple steps that take less than 10 min. Asset parameters are scanned, selected and imported into DeltaV from AMS Suite predictive-maintenance software and the CIS 6500 Machinery Health Monitor.
