The new ASM 340 (photo) is a high-performance and durable leak detector for a wide range of applications, from R&D through the industrial coatings market, and can be used for both serial production and maintenance tasks. Both qualitative localization of leaks and quantitative integral or local inspection are possible. The compact leak detector features an efficient vacuum system, and has a fast response time due to the high helium-pumping speed. The ASM 340 is said to be the only leak detector in its class that is capable of locating leaks starting at 100 hPa. A large selection of interfaces enable easy integration into production lines.
