This high-frequency crucible furnace with vacuum is suitable for induction melting of metals and metal alloys, for heat treatment and for sintering of oxide ceramics and metal powders. The unit can be operated with or without vacuum, and is automated to control the heating power, gas flow and temperature. Depending on the susceptors used, temperatures of up to 2,300°C can be achieved. The effective heating volume of the cylindrical quartz chamber is 84-mm dia. and 300-mm long. — Linn High Therm GmbH, Eschenfelden, Germany
