Print labels up to four times faster with this system

The Digiline label-printing system (photo) is based on contact-free inkjet technology with inks that cure within a fraction of a second when exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light. The print is resistant to wear and abrasion that may occur during the packaging process. Compared to other thermal-transfer printers, Digiline systems can achieve four times higher speeds of up to 60 m/min, says the company. The system also includes an integrated label buffer that automatically adapts to the changing cycle speeds of the connected label applicator.
