This company’s Non-invasive Monitoring Unit (NIMU; photo) monitors the performance of bursting disks, providing information about the way a bursting disk responds to positive and negative pressure. A NIMU can be attached within a blind hole in the bursting-disk holder, thus isolating it from the process medium. The unit can be easily serviced and replaced without opening the pipeline.
